Maryland Security Guard Renewal . Take our 2-hour course and we will then renew your Security Guard Card. Come work for us part-time and/or on-call, just come in and fill out an application. Class offered every Thursday (9am-2pm). Book your seat now. Maryland security guards are under the jurisdiction of the Maryland State Police Licensing Division. The Division recognizes multiple job roles including corporate officer. Security guards who will be armed must also apply for handgun permits. Requirements are more stringent. Home Weapons training
