  • Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals (WHSDF) 8 hour course is a welcoming and engaging training guide created by a woman for women who are seeking to begin, improve upon, or add to their firearms skills. This course is designed to reach students who are brand new to firearms and those who are ready to learn more about defensive shooting.

  • Basics and fundamentals will be introduced, reviewed, and then built upon, while also exploring situational awareness, common types of handguns, ammunition types, malfunctions, firearms handling skills, defensive pistol fundamentals, and the use of deadly force.

  • Whether you’ve never touched a firearm, looking for the next steps in your training, or you’ve chosen to learn about the skills, tools, and mindset needed to use firearms for self-defense, you can be prepared to carry confidently every day with tips and techniques from experienced women in the world of firearms.

Countering the Mass Shooter Threat

Countering the Mass Shooter Threat is a USCCA curriculum which focuses on a study of compiled data from every mass shooting since Columbine. By studying and understanding this data and thus the mass shooter, a plan can be developed to counter the mass shooter. This course will cover: Statistics and facts regarding mass shooter incidents How to respond if you find yourself in a mass shooter incident How to develop an emergency operations plan (EOP) with an emphasis on schools, places of worship, and businesses Brief emergency medical and how to conduct triage after a mass shooting This is an 8 hour course and will run from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
